Video Distribution Amplifier – DVD-3214

SAMIM DVD- 3214 is a 3G/HD/SD-SDI/ASI video distribution amplifier which can be operated as single and dual channel. In the event of a power failure, the input signal is transferred to the output by a bypass relay which is provided for each input. Re-clocker for jitter removal and equalizer for cable loss compensation are the main capabilities of the DVD- 3214.

For the 1 to 8 mode, the input1 is connected to all eight outputs and in the event of input signal problem, all the outputs would be disconnected. For the 2 to 4 mode, the input1 is connected to the first four outputs and the input2 is connected to the second four outputs. In this mode, two options of “Change over” and “Recover” are considered. When the “Change over” is enabled, if one of the input signals is lost, the related outputs are supported by the other input. In this case, when the input is retrieved, the signal won’t be connected to its outputs. But if the “Recover” is enabled too, the signal automatically will be switched back to its outputs again. All adjustments and controls can be applied directly by onboard DIP switches and web interface remote control. The web interface remote control and LED indicators on the front edge of the card, inform the user about operational status of the module.
